Resumen

El dossier Mercados transnacionales y sus herramientas reúne trabajos que discuten la materialidad de la vida económica y la producción de los mercados a través de sus objetos, instrumentos, tecnologías e infraestructuras. Su objetivo es explorar las diferentes formas en que las tecnologías, dispositivos, artefactos gráficos y técnicas se convierten en modos específicos de política, destacando su papel en el tejido de los mercados transnacionales. Los textos que lo componen no abordan la globalización como tema central, sino que la toman como una circunstancia ineludible del mundo contemporáneo, explorando lo que podríamos llamar circuitos globalizados y movilidades asociadas, con énfasis en los agenciamientos de mercado y sus dimensiones tecnopolíticas. Por lo tanto, ofrecen un prisma analítico para comprender cómo estas movilidades y agenciamientos pueden llegar a articularse en múltiples escalas, global y localmente.

Doutor em Sociologia pelo Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Políticos da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ) e pós-doutorando do International Postdoctoral Program no Centro Brasileiro de Análise e Planejamento (CEBRAP).
