Resumo

O presente dossiê Mercados transnacionais e suas ferramentas reúne trabalhos que discutem a materialidade da vida econômica e a produção de mercados através de seus objetos, instrumentos, tecnologias e infraestruturas. A aposta deste dossiê é explorar as diversas formas como as tecnologias, dispositivos, artefatos gráficos e técnicas se tornam modos específicos de política, sublinhando seu papel na tessitura de mercados transnacionais. Os textos que o compõem não tratam da globalização como tema central, mas a tomam como uma circunstância incontornável do mundo contemporâneo, explorando o que poderíamos chamar de circuitos globalizados e mobilidades associadas, com destaque para os agenciamentos de mercado e suas dimensões tecnopolíticas. Oferecem, assim, um prisma analítico para compreender como essas mobilidades e agenciamentos podem vir a se articular em múltiplas escalas, no global e no local.

Marcos Lopes Campos, Centro Brasileiro de Análise e Planejamento

Doutor em Sociologia pelo Instituto de Estudos Sociais e Políticos da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ) e pós-doutorando do International Postdoctoral Program no Centro Brasileiro de Análise e Planejamento (CEBRAP).

Deborah Fromm, Centro Brasileiro de Análise e Planejamento

Doutora em Antropologia Social pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) com estágio de pesquisa no exterior na Goldsmiths College, Universidade de Londres e pesquisadora do Núcleo de Etnografias Urbanas (NEU/ CEBRAP).

Vera da Silva Telles, Universidade de São Paulo
