Contemporary sociology in the Czech Republic: the case of the University of Hradec Králové

This paper aims to analyze the formation of sociologists in the post-socialism context in Czech Republic, considering that the configurations that sociology takes on in this national context. We start from an empirical case based on the formation of sociologists offered by the University of Hradec Králové, in which we will analyze the curricular profile of the sociology course, articulating these data with interviews made with professors of the aforementioned university that aimed to understand the meanings of the formation of sociologists in the Czech society in recent period, within the context of the post-socialism in Central Europe.
